What I do need are signatures for ballot access now it use to be 2 now (although the scummy by-law specified "Candidates for Members of Council" not Mayor, etc...) and as if it's not bad enough that I need 100 from Vancouver-Centre, 25 if I do it in the West End, I have to take it up the flesh pipe from the Liberty Rapists (Unanimously) of City Council or Liberty Rapists to get 25 signatures especially since they extend definition of Mayor to Member of Council as it is not, and I suggest voting against all incumbent parties. If any of them break with their party and show this by signing my paper I will mention it here and make it an exception; 10 at-large councillors and one Mayor (not to mention park and school board), and to have a decent choice at min. you need 5 Candidates each. More demand from the press never hurt. If signing more than one paper is at issue Paul Hancock the Assist. Election Agent told me we can sign all and as many papers except our own. Reaching out to a broadr coalition like the ballot access crowd perhaps. Mayoral as well. I can sign Gregor's, Betty K's, Ladner's, Banana's, etc.....

Frankly I support abolishing School and Park Board (privatizer and park zoning issue) and putting it in the hands of Council of Wards and the Mayor who wins the Majority of Wards. None the less I find those offices unimportant, they don't have to vote for me, but damn, I get the signature on the Ballot Access paper your closer to the top the sooner you do it (1st to sign is the 1st to get the vote, 2nd signature 2nd place). Thought I'd put some fun into it."
So far thanks to COPE Candidate Anita Romaniuk, I support boycotting the Parties in City Council and the BC Legislature but she's an exception and a supporter of nomination reform and had the courage to help an independent (and more of them if she can) Candidate make the ballot.

As part of launching my 2008 Mayoral run, I was thinking of running post-no-confidence either as an offer to the Libertarian Party of Canada or as an Independent just to finish what I started in 1996-1997 and go after Fry and even more so that craven hypocrit Robinson; also a refusal to pledge to the crown. If someone wants to get 100 signatures, because no way in hell I'll manage this task, frankly I don't want to bother people or get more than two for any office; feel free if you wish to do this, if this is accomplished I might have someone who can lend me a grand for this, also I'd need an accountant unless I am allowed the Liberty to audit.. No lieing, altruism please.

XI-18-2008: Now 2009 ponders, I was courted, will I do it. My financials are in, and Dan Grice convinced me to oppose STV more. Debate access did not get better when they started making us get 25 signatures many on state paid for facilities and news diservices. At least Car 87 awareness got out, but alas a secret ballot will never assure us our votes were cast right. If you were denied a right to vote, let me know, regardless who your choice was. Lets wish it not to be as bad as it looks with no checks and balances and a scary governance. I am ashamed at the turnout, 25%, but it explains the vote drop. At least there is Duckman, Squidbillies, Bromwell High and It's Happy Bunny (More as fun as well). A good book to understanding the USA Founding. It would be nice if my accessible art and humor sell better, damn art grants are for the buddy system and I won't apply for the waste of money, individuals trusted with expendible income is what I rely on.
XI-15-2008: I thank those who bothered to show up in this small pool and huge vote against the vote or poor turnout and vote for me, the endorcements, and so on. Those who stood up and were willing to be counted good for you. The rest, you make me wonder if you deserve a choice on the ballow, when 75% don't show up it's like screaming for 1 party, and with commies winning it may be that way. I will set up 2011 draft, and may be responding to a West End courting with a no unless I am drafted. I don't have good showings in low turn outs this is obvious. This is when things get worse. Now look, no checks and balances in Council and Executive.

XI-09-2008: Understanding Mr. Bur, he sees the Gay Pride Parade as a way to wrangle people for gay bashing targeting and it's a legit concern. Not to mention payments owed and polarising parades, even of religious icons like Saint Pat, but maybe that's me and my privacy loving public secularism. Some interesting events and different candidates, and different not always bad, rarely. Almost a breath of fressh air when there is a diversity in how and what people think. However we need a leader that will even question what he agrees with and independently mediate council without beign owned by a party.

XI-04-2008: When people call: I understand the horrors in this city, from a distracted overly burdened state with essential services and tax payers being burdened by the non-essential, to the violation of defense and personal security rights by the big brother state from Vancouver to Fr. Meade Maryland. By state and by rabble and by individual and in South, East, and West Sides. Burroughs and unrepresented regions that could be called Wards. But no issue is alone, and don't expect the candidate to act like a know-at-all and quote every case law. I got an unclear call talking about a problem with an explaination of a situation but unclear that he wanted me to word the legal term for Breaking and Entering, just fished. I agreed with him, I have to know and learn but that will go on in life until, and for any of us, when we are in diapers ironically forgetting it all. No one even has all the questions. Oh, why do I not say this on TV and the Radio or to the press in the paper. The press has ignored my letters for years now, let alone even interview me as a Candidate, it has decreased every time I have run. How many times did lincoln run and lose?
XI-02-2008: Yes I am Eccentric: I am strange, I am a little medically neurotic, but I am moderate mad compared to others, and not a megalomaniac like what usually gets elected who hits the extremes of sane, would it not be change to actually support the wack job? If the non-wack job failed, then a moderate nut must be an improvement with a little caution. Hey at least I am not bouncing to Toronto to run for Mayor in between and don't plan on a world presidency to build a federation of planets, and I am not a one issue pot mad man. X-29-2008: A Chick, Shora Parvaresh, called me asked me about a small silly mention of something athletic and anyway, I was humble I did not want to mention to her that I was the 10 time world champion of avoiding commitment. "Are you for real?....," is she? She keeps herself shrowded on Facebook, but not idizen or her caller ID display. I hate to be her with the less well humored Candidates. Those dicks might really do a number on. Like when if she calls, World President, Scott Yee and asks him and disagrees on how many Star Trek episodes or scoffs at his Federation of Planets. X-13-2008: My penultimate list of my votes on the 15th (the new election bylaw made it slim pickings, I am surprised I had someone to endorse) sadly the incumbents of council have made it so the choices were so slim it was easy for me to decide (largely knowing some and one fed party fellow), well here it is: My Lijst X-10-2008: Final list ends with a unsatisfactory list of non-incumbent slates and independents on the council and board level as a result of the new election bylaw no doubt and the Greens being idiots and being part of the incumbent party; The Work Less Slate is on with a few with Mayoral Candidate being Betty K also their Van East for the 14th. Marc Scott Emery (3rd), Joseph Kareem Hatoum (2nd), and Scott Yee (2nd) added to the Mayoral lists as well as WENDYTHIRTEEN for her second and a Mr. Stark, more on the page of other news and candidates.

Magazine, The CBC (on your dime), Kitsalano Chamber of Commerce and the Vancouver Fair Tax wit NPA-Vision censor and deny access to the debates Candidates who did file their papers at city hall (myself, Buday, included) while Robertson and Ladner haven't and Ladner works in the building, More on this story. On more independent news, Leon Kaplan has filed with the city for the Mayoral Campaign.

X-03-2008: Some NPA Slate Members of no consequence, and Independent Thomas Lockhart seeks the partks board and despite being marked as out of town he may have some support at least on the pro-dog issue shared by Mr. Buday. Also on the Buday from he responds to Ladner and Robertson by opposing injection (enabling) sites and supporting Wards/Constituencies for Councillors.
X-02-2008: Mrs. Juliet Victoria Andalis, Mr. Mayencourt for Parks Board have signed up; Lea Johnson, Mark Boyer, and Steve Wansbleeben have filed as Council Candidates.
X-02-2008: Filed candidates, such as Buday, denied from debating (culprit: editor @ vancourier.com) on Oct 1st and likely Oct. 08th debates. Ladner and Robertson, who had not filed yet were welcomed, and they didn't have work their ass off for the signatures they got having 50+ members in their parties and massive organization. Mr. Buday rants on about how the VPD demands more money when they don't even make them choose police Iraq, Afganastan, or Vancouver. Says they should fire them dishonorably for abandoning their police duties in Vancouver for a foreign War Lord's. Also promises not to be heroin on wheels and will not offer a 4 pillars of enabling, no tolerance of police abuses including pre-emptive survaillance. Questions having wars on terror and drugs and DEA agents everywhere when there is no war on rape and murder which would even open up methodology issues and technicalities in those cases. Buday opposes Gay Pride Day and all Parades, leave the roads for the cars, he says. Leave the sexuality for the bedroom, he goes on, privacy is not a joke do not make it one. He also will refuse to Marry anyone and does not think this is the business for a state official to execute sacrements dating back to Zarathustra (between a man and woman there as well, the physics of nature), opposing the use of "his worship" for a human being and the segregation of block votes and China Town (what Buday calls Railroad Slave Town) and will not work like Robertson and Ladner to build a Railroad to the Future (a future in NPA-Vision Agreement Cases being voting one self a payraise). Buday also wants a pay cut for himself and council. Also questions why the School Board works in the nicest building that looks like a small private academy.
IX-30-2008: To all who signed for my ballot access, including Park Board Candidates Romaniuk and Andalis, thank you, I have filed them as of roughly 09:00 (AM). No other ruling party candidate or coalition candidate signed. Just Romaniuk, rank n files, and independents.
IX-29-2008: I don't want to be the Mayor of your bedroom, I don't want to be the Mayor of your wallet, I don't want to rule with iron fist; I care not to run police who grab guns and defense rights (personal security) and knock on your door with a foot or battering ram without a reasonable warrant. I do not want the Olympics here to destroy more of the city, and if I can't stop them do what ever I can to make it harder on them and at least contact people from my family's '88 Olympic days. Frankly I rather they move over to the runner up. IOC get out! Leave our pockets alone. I do not want to be a Mayor of a city dependent on tourism, I want a population with a better expendible income. I want more freedom and less government blockades on job creation.
IX-28-2008: The 30th at earliest and 10th of October at most to file papers, and I am looking to go with the 30th when opening just in case of error, no time to procrastinate, I need more signatures 22 maybe 20 will be excepted and have room for 45. 25 are required by the fascist election bylaw, denying my right to vote since I am the only one I am willing to vote for if I don't or do make it, because it's close. Law came to play in the middle of my one year campaign (legally it was fine from Nov 15th 2007). Ballot Access and Voting Choice Rights has become a major issue with me, on top of stopping police abuses and making Vancouver Cops choose between being our cops or Afganistan and Iraq Cops. I think serial killers and rapists are doing worse than some arab looking for a kidney donor. Well we don't need their Opium. We need privacy rights and better police methodology, not this War On Anything rule that there are no rules for police. Forced treatment and Car 87 needs stopping. More importantly I need to be nominated to the ballot so I can put that stress behind me and be a little more clear. Cadman is afraid of the fact someone would bring up he voted for the Election ByLaw; he said he supports denying ballot access to Candidates because the more names on the ballot the worse it is for his Candidate (Gregor), even a Libertarian I asked? He said, "yes!". I suppose he doesn't want to lose votes to people who want to be trusted to choose their Candidate. Heh man do they put their foot in their mouth at their nomination meetings, best place for journalists to ask tough questions. Weenies can't take the competition, is this what you want in office? Either Ladner or Robertson and the rest of WASP (W = WesternEuropean) elite. They want names like Ladner and Robertson, not Buday let alone Gölök, and party names, he (Cadman, a prussian name) first said no when I said independent. I am on an all governing party and coalition boycot except Anita Romaniuk (signed and for making ballot access/nominations easier) so far, more news on this later.
VII-15-2008: Fear not to ask questions or make a good point, I have this conscientious thing, which is something along with Trustworthyness I look for in councillors and so on; I can never promise to agree, but damn if I will waste an opinion or fact. -- Gölök "LD Taylored" Buday. VII-15-2008: Some Buday Policy: WARDs (constituencies, one seat per riding). Add All free persons, incl. bound by service, excluding indians not taxed, 3/5s of all other. Also support a Advocate seated as speaker and vote collector to city hall and the Mayor in Boroughs. Each Borough should consist of 6 Max councillors.; No Speed Cameras or Camera watching citizens on the stree; pot hole reduction; better muffler replacement reduction (such as holding the vehicle until they replace it; better rust yard cleanup expectations; an end to city hall's smoke high colonic department; property taxes moved to money from land, 1% on annual gains; a essential service government; US Style Vancouver Constitutional protection (adjusted for municipal); Vancouver may need a court system of it's own for the people and not the crown; he will not be "his Worship"; no state employees executing marriage under him; no more arcade and skateboard hostility; a ban on ID checks and all the electronic oppression a night club or company can buy; no tolerance of government enforcement of closing times of private business; competition enforcement; re-examination of bylaws for necessity and liberty; demand the police not worry themselves on weapons not used on crimes, defence not being a crime; tougher Mayor on police brutality; a repeal of new Election Bylaw and fee and a bylaw banning fees and a signature requirement beyond seconding nominations with an inability to countermand; presumption of innocence and ban on sin taxes within city limits; more film industry friendly permit fees; limited government; limited policing, a code of conduct enforcing rule of law and evidece; ban on Car 87 activities; Transit fee reform (a system like parking validation at work and place of consumerism); see about ending 911 fees on phone bills, emergency services are state business and tax purpose if it has any, at least per use could be a change; no more Olympics if one can help it, if nothing else they will pay permit fees through the roof, any applicable permit they will pay; maybe apply a tax on the Olympic activity to get a refund; taxing grants from government to business and collectives 100% and stopping municipal grants or unmerited endowments from bureacrats; promotion of a meritochrasy; if I have no choice about 2010 I have people from my Calgarian years in 1988 as one of them (Father helped a friend out by photographing the event); I understand there is no a magic wand and alot of this will be fighting; cracking the whip on government; moving to localizing transit more and removing the west coast express for an LRT to go from the Sea Bus area to Wall street; there is no reason for a bedroom community, urban sprawl, and dependency on Tourism and "being on the map" if the locals are capable of making a living by staying out of the private sector's ability to create jobs. No Eco(nomic) Density. I want apartments to have a min. size and ban the shared bathroom SRO fascility. No more heritage building laws preventing further civic renewal, if the location is important they can put on a plaque. Ads can be sold on manholes, and idea I picked up from the late Len Gribble, MD. Beats an Olympic propaganda placed there for free. Politcal Pay Cuts, with them and unelected municiple workers and all state payments linked to inflation and not to grow beyond that, if a politician wants more or less they can add it like a party beside their name on a ballot like a party. Freedom of Speech enforcement and more. Freedom and Liberty ensured in general principle. Facebook Page Board. In my view, we don't need to any of liberty hating ecodense tax and spend gov love Candidates and their Parties.
VI-26-2008: Fight on to fight the Liberty Rape of the new election by-law to force 25 signatures on Candidates (supposedly for Members of Council Cand. nut extended), ballot boxes on wheels initiative instead of the mail ballot and early voting for the disabled, road and pothole fight, and essential revenue for only essential service and as little tax collection as possible for this. Even if my old Psych, Len Gribble's suggestion to sell ad space on man holes were to be established. I prefer a cap of a Million Per Person (linked to inflation) taken and 1% of income (annual profits, or what ever is above previous year income, not previous year income) property and none on land and goods/services, and a linked to inflation 10,000 deductable (all enforced through law on the state), no more voting selves a pay raise all state employees will have to get increases and decreases based on infation up and down (deflation) and if a politician wants more let them put it beside their name like a party on the ballot or if a decrease; I want a 50% cut on the politician pay and I'd like to review perks and change the car bonus to a bus pass (more state limitations by law), a US Style Constitution for Vancouver especially for regards to separation of powers, regulating states and rables and that Bill of Rights thing. I want to review warrants and policing more; I want no cameras on common streets, no police state crap, and stop police from investigating self defence tool (weapon and skill) ownership. Currently looking for a deputy candidate/running mate; names like Kirk Pankey have come to mind, but it's tough if I want more council candidates and no branch crossing, or I'd ask Jason W Burrows, I'd might have to pick one after I see wins and loses; was even open to some like DeGenova even despite some disagreements which are inevitable; losing of Vision support. No ethnic limitation but prefer a private private life. I prefer a libertarian minded individual, or lets say individualist.
VI-06-2008: Press don't show up for my press announcement/conference at PAL, two hours and not even the New Hungarian Voice, not even a polite sorry we can't make it. There is no free press, and I recommend looking elsewhere for Candidate information not with ignoring the press totally maybe they will get better, word of mouth to online to even sending as many letters to papers complaining about your candidate being left out as a disservice to voters and information seekers everty where. Free Press? Free to focus on the establishment politic/Candidate only I suppose. To report what the establishment lets them? Is that freedom. Maybe I need to start a zine or weekly.
VI-03-2008: By Law requiring 20 to 25 signatures and appearently the law requiring a deposit is also unretainable because no change was made to the charter and could be ignored or challenged, even the election itself if they go with the unanimous decision by party people who's Party's have 50+ members to exist. Making them violate the conflict of interest clause denying them their vote on this matter. The Nomination Process needs liberalizing to be more like 1996 Vancouver. Buday opposes tax hike on land and land taxes in general and only a constitutionally some sort of limited 1% income tax with a on a capital gain or improvement on previous fiscal year; not on carry over of less or equal. Common essential services are the only purpose for it according to Buday. Signatures are required for Council Candidates.
V-27-2008: Banana (slippery) is a new Candidate to enter the race. Mr. Buday is outrages at the NPA-Vision coalition lead by Sullivan demanding Candidates start getting 20-25 signatures instead of the 2 even worse they broke with Ladner who wanted 100, what does your Candidate think of this anti-liberty anti-ballot access fascism?
V-08-2008: A new gimmick, thankfully not the e-spy gimmick but the Lijst Buday, join the campaign as a member. Benefits? You send me money and you become a member. Plus it's a pledge to vote, and vote for me, advocate my position. Letter to the editor, and talk about my policies and so on on usenet, facebook, etc.... Word of Mouth and telling off media for ignoring the independents with a lot to say. It's your free will but it's a committment being an elector and the world will keep on messing up with Sullivan like compromises. Staying home because a pollster says someone won't win makes them right; Zogby is a Super Delegate; pollsters are not non-partisan; some may be non-partisan-associationist. Trust me, they won't find buzz in me contacting them (the press), facts aren't interesting to them, active support look at Ron Paul; if that energy can come forward and stay to go to the ballot box; at least don't do pot or over booze before election day (no crimes around me, I will never lie on the stand for anyone). Anyway, I do not need this Paul thing where they support you until going to vote, that blows..
III-25-2008: My (Gölök) position on Tibet, China and IOC. They have done this before and what's good for South Africa, Soviets, etc... is good for China. Although China is just their cup of tea (IOC) it takes from Citizens to run it's events. Potholes and Roads continue to degrade. Raimond Louie is seeking his Party nomination to run for Mayor, if he wins he will be maybe the 3rd or 4rth with a Chinese Maternal Ancestry to run, and maybe the first Gaul or Franco ancestry paternally, although Hatoum may actually be this (Lebanese-Gaul, by name (Y) Hungarian (X)), it's hard to remember completely but I tend to focus on more than who the press tell you have a shot at the win. I have a light perspective on this because this supersticial bullshit has little interest to me, look at me my name is so Ethnic looking I had to clear up with the press that my name was real in 1996, however many purist Chinese or Y gene Chinese (not all) call a Louie a Banana. III-19-2008: From the Calgary Olympics to Vancouver now, and Buday is no fan. Plans on doing all that is possible to end the olympics (not enough went to the referendum, even if he supported it; voted against the referendum), Gölök voted for himself, that was vote against the Olympics, he told the people in the Shaw debate it would be over budget and the taxpayers didn't deserve such a fisting. Campbell and Sullivan promiced this, sue them, IOC. If there is no way out he knows people who have experience from back in Calgary who also know people. He intends on taxing the IOC and so on all the taxpayer's money they recieved and making them pay special event permits. Make sure the city loses little. Stopping dignitary seating, and opening those seats up to the public if possible. No security for dignitaries or Olympics the Olympics and Dignataries don't pay for themselves. The English and Chinese president and other monarchs and red rulers can stay at home.

II-23-2008: Buday Platform includes a plan to use powers to examine ways evidence is collected and expose technicalities and individuals responsible when possible to have a lean and clean as possible police department, to fire not wrong man just the wrong doers. As said in 1996 "The only thing worse than a crook is a cop that's a crook." No one will get paid while leaving city hall to slave for the Olympics if he can't stop it from happening. They can be paid there or at work. No student will be enslavable by the corporate donated and state donated Olympic event, they have student loans and fees to pay. No policeman will stay in war or "peace keeping" missions and be paid as police officers, they will have to pick a duty and stick with it, and if they want to war monger and colonize they can be replaced by someone who won't.I will prepose and push for a tax on all government grants going to art and business and all collective groups while, banning municipal ones, from other Government levels 100% to put business, artists, and non/not-for-profit groups on an equal footing, keeping Government out of industry. Nothing in the city limits should do business benefiting by state favoratism. Even toying with a 100% tax on politician pensions. II-06-2008: Allan De Genova to seek Vision Vancouver nomination, while Tim Louis calls it a (for this reason) an new NPA with mild improvements. Will De Genova respect debate (same) access rights to fellow Candidates with 5 or more positions? Party Caucus Leaders and Independents in At-Large Council Election Meetings?

He thinks the press create voter disinterest and endorse the same old by denying voter access, if the Candidate has more than 5 policy positions and views then he or she should be in a debate, at least 200+ press releases should have counted in 2002+.

VII-29-2007: Naturally I would do away with most of the Government jobs, cancel CUPE as a working union (granted as an advocasy group or individual they can offer a writ of grievance) and link any necessary unprivatised department, like the City Clerks and Emergency, and link all checks from the state to inflation including political pay raises and cuts. Up and Down. These "over certain years" deals are major rip offs, think about it you negotiate 30% over 3 or 4 years and inflation is up 40% in 2? Does this make sense? On the other side, the payess (taxpayer), infation down 40% in those 3 years. It's a rip off, or a gamble at the risk of innocent individuals. Calgary had the best walking street, I want to see this on Robson from Granville to Bute and maybe to Nicola St. Stop the auto-cruising and general automotive stupidity and waste as well as rust yards. I oppose city density. Dense populations are pest friendly and lead to higher crime rates, I would like to see a sky train up to stratcona by way of the tracks beside Railroad St. and Powell. Up to perhaps the Wall Street/Lakewood area. I'd try to do as much privatization as possible.
I rather voucher out rent supliments than have government run housing, I think private housing with 1 bedrooms no smaller than 700 sq feet as a good thing. The vouchers will work like a tab with no interest.
They required us to vote on community centre budgeting, yet not olympic? Does this not make sense.
Down with the statist regimes, it's time someone takes the place of the usual megalomaniacs, at the very least we need it in City Hall's Mayor's seat to balance off the party statists on all sides, being independent.

Buday 2008: The Final Referendum On The Olympics, I never wanted them, never ran for or indisicive about it and I never promiced them to any business or the IOC they'd have to sue it's political support for a promice a democratically elected individual can't make certain. Don't expect taxes on land (yes perhaps property), and don't expect taxes until representation or wards, taxation without representation is an abomination, one we in Vancouver suffer from daily. EVen a user fee is a tythe. I'd like this "Libertarian" or small c Conservative (Neo Confidence Man) utopia work, but some sort of property, like that paper we pass around like the whore it is (money) for delightful goods and services (if you have taste), helping the job growth (which by the way the consumer is partly, if not mostly responsible for), a fixed property tax on income no larger than 1% and no more taxes beyond perhaps reasonable and inflation linked parking meters; and perhaps tires with huge treads and other permits. I prefer criminal punishment to cash cow fines but in some minor cases it can be acceptable as long as random checks are not a part of it.
No more speed and drinking and driving kills crap, being an idiot kills will be a much better slogan for my age of responsibility and nano states.
It's early but a platform extension (to 2002 and 2005 issues) continues like end of the Olympic games and investigation into the misappropriations of tax dollars for them.
